New class, summer 2020
Because I took spring 2020 off from teaching to prepare for my crammed full events schedule in the summer, (go ahead and laugh), I missed out on the crisis-panic of learning to shift to online instruction in 24 hours as we called students back from spring break on a Wednesday in mid-March, and panicked and sent everyone home by Friday the 13th. Because I suspect there may be more opportunities to teach online this fall (or oh, say, in the next few years), I volunteered to teach a pop-up summer class on creating content for a digital platform. I have appreciated their understanding as we all learn to meet on Teams, and I am grateful to see that there can be vibe even when we see each other in the equivalent of Hollywood Squares meets the Brady Bunch intro.
